The Clemson Institute for the Study of Capitalism is pleased to announce it will be hosting a ten week summer webinar series for college students on the moral foundations of capitalism in the summer of 2021. We invite you to apply to participate in this exciting program.
Full Scholarships: All students admitted to the program will receive a full $750 scholarship for their participation, payable in three installments, and complimentary reading materials.
Exciting Programs: Over ten weeks, students will attend virtual seminars with distinguished faculty to discuss the moral foundations of capitalism via Ayn Rand’s seminal novel, Atlas Shrugged. Each week, the seminar session will focus on three chapters of the book and will feature intensive discussion and conversation about the ideas that stand at the foundation of a free society. Additional sessions with faculty will explore applied topics in capitalism.

Faculty: The Clemson Institute has assembled a faculty of leading scholars and thought leaders who focus on the moral foundations of capitalism, with specialties in economics, history, philosophy, and political theory. Joining this year’s conference are philosopher Andrew Bernstein, economist Richard Ebeling, historian Eric Daniels, writer and publisher Craig Biddle, and political theorist C. Bradley Thompson.
